Wild Coast Extreme 4x4 Tours
- Wild Coast Extreme Taster tour: self-catering available.
- It is recommended that you be competent with very good 4x4 experience from a few 4x4 tours.
- Wild Coast Extreme Full tour: Dinner, bed, breakfast and lunch in hotels.
- Wild Coast Extreme Taster:
- Camping with facilities, toilets, hot water & showers.
- Power available.
- Self-catering available.
- Some with power, some without.
- The terrain is mostly gravel roads with river crossings and tracks and some tar.
- The Crossings are a mixture of Grade 3 and Grade 4 approaches and exits.
- Some of the approaches and exits are technical.
- The route is not frequently travelled and can have wash-aways that may need packing to get through, etc.
- The river crossings will require drivers to walk first to clear boulders, etc.
- There are sections through the forest that may require clearing of fallen trees or overgrowth.
- Adverse weather and rain can result in the routes becoming Grade 4 to Grade 5 and the gravel roads becoming very muddy.
- You cannot tow a 4x4 Trailer or Caravan on this route.
